Drove through region to get to site enroute thru to Netherlands, weather not too good at t8me, but think would be very picturesque

The area seemed run down and economically depressed. The local town was characterised by kebab shops, supermarkets and “adult” entertainment. It didn’t seem very tourist friendly and the locals were not very welcoming. The countryside however, is very attractive.
