Stayed for 5 nights to explore the area. Set on terraces high up in the Harz mountains. Beautiful scenery around and local facilities in the village nearby, although it's an uphill walk. Managed fine with the shower and toilet block, very clean but will echo previous reviews that there is only one shower with lockable door in both the gents and ladies so if you're shy bear this in mind!A very nice central location to explore all the main towns and villages. I would recommend trips to Wernigerode a beautiful old town, up the brocken mountain(but expensive so beware!) and to Bad Harzburg to travel up the cable car and a walk down through the forest to the "tree house". Staff on the campsite are very friendly and rolls are available to order if required
Very nice site in the Harz mountains ideal for visiting all the medieval towns in the area. Very quiet and relaxing site. Excellent very large swimming pool.
