The child-friendly four star camping Am Emsdeich is spacious and in a beautiful location by the Freizeitssee. This is a natural, moderately-sized lake near Westoverledingen (4 km away) with a large sandy beach. They have constructed a few wooden platforms that project over the water, ideal for sunbathing. Also handy to tie up your boat. Canoeing and kayaking are favourite pastimes here, as are fishing and windsurfing.

Rural, spacious and calm

The campsite is well maintained everywhere and offers shade and privacy. This is borne out by the neatly maintained hedges and bushes around the demarcated pitches. The 350 touring pitches all look well maintained and are spacious (100 m2). Ready for a change? You can rent a glamping tent, a sleeping barrel with view of the lake or a wooden lodge.

Active and sporty

This is a great campsite for people who like active holidays (cycling, walking and water recreation). There is also a fun entertainment programme for children, who can also enjoy themselves on the playground with giant slide. Parents can enjoy themselves in the fitness area, sauna, on the sunbed and with all kinds of water sports possibilities.

Eating by the lake

There is a small camping shop/bar by the lake. The restaurant, on the other hand, is spacious and has a comprehensive menu. The restaurant is also located on the lake, which means a relaxing meal with beautiful view! Take-away meals are also offered.

Sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. Upon arrival all guests receive a key for the sanitary building. There are also toilets for seniors.
