Sehr schöner, kleiner und ruhiger Platz, Sanitär wie zuhause. Ideal zum Rad fahren in schöner Landschaft!

Prima kleinschalige camping. Heeft grasveld tegenover het sanitair (maar wel dicht bij de drukke weg) en meer naar achteren een grasveld omringd door bomen. Bescheiden plaatsen qua oppervlakte. Prima sanitair. Iets te bescheiden spoelkeuken. Eigenaresse is vrouw van weinig woorden maar correct. Stringente afvalscheiding. Klein paadje achterom de camping voor het uitlaten van honden. Als het donker en helder is prima plek om naar de sterrenhemel te kijken en tijdens de trek naar de kraanvogels. Landschap ter plekke is grootschalig agrarisch en vlak. Echte wandelmogelijkheden zijn er nauwelijks. Fietsen iets beter. Daar staat tegenover dat Gingst redelijk centraal ligt om de diverse \"tentakels\" van Rügen te bezoeken, b.v. met het fietsenrek achterop. Leuk zijn uitstapjes naar Willow, Hiddensee (beide met veerpont) en Ummanz (verbindingsbrug) om een soort \"Waddeneiland-gevoel\" te krijgen.
Door de late zomerwarmte was er een enorme muggenplaag, maar dat zal beslist een bijzondere omstandigheid zijn geweest.
