Camping Am Wiesengrund is located under the smoke of the village of Malliss, right on the water of the Ziegelei Canal and in the midst of nature. You'll camp here on little fields, on a spacious campsite surrounded by greenery and various types of trees. An oasis of peace where you'll primarily see families with small children or even seniors setting their camp chairs on the edge of the water to leisurely gaze at the passing boats.
Barrier closed? No problem!
Holidaymakers who arrive late will find two spaces at the entrance to the campground where they can park between ten o'clock in the evening and eight o'clock in the morning. Officially, these two campsites are for single overnights. There are also three very spacious sites for campers on the campground.
It's more than convivial on the campground. We've thought of everything: you have a restaurant with a small menu based on regional products. Next door there is a café, a little campground shop with regional products and an herb garden. Further back you walk past the immaculate bathroom building and arrive at the beach volleyball court. Here you'll find the communal grilling area and a lovely playground for the children.
Sail or look at the boats
Because you're in the midst of an area with many canals, there are many pleasure boats. You can hire a canoe (at the campground) and explore these waterways. See if you can spot the kingfishers. Paddle surfing (also called Stand Up Paddling) is perfect on these calm waters. Looking for something special? Hire a Trabant. You'll have a great drive with the Trabi2Go.
