Bockenauer Schweiz Campsite is located on the edge of the gorgeous Soonwald, along an idyllic stream in a beautiful valley. This is first and foremost a campsite where you can really enjoy peace and quiet. The campsite is almost exclusively used by tourist campers. In addition to very spacious camping pitches, the campsite features two fishing ponds, an excellent restaurant and modern sanitary facilities. This campsite is also an ideal base for hiking and cycling enthusiasts.

Choose your own camping pitch at your leisure

The campsite's reception is located in the restaurant. The owners will cordially welcome you there. Campers are encouraged to first choose a suitable pitch. The paperwork is taken care of later.

While searching for the perfect camping spot on this extensive campsite, you'll quickly notice that there are no specific pitch designations around. It's not always possible to have these given the height differences on the site.

Stream, fishing ponds and a playground

A small stream flows past this campsite. This is a nice place for children to swim and build dams, for example. Its also an ideal spot for campers to let their dogs take a refreshing dip on hot days. Bockenauer Schweiz also offers two beautiful fishing ponds and an adventure playground where children can enjoy themselves.

Come have a nice meal at Gaststätte Zum Budche

At the front of the campsite you'll find the Gaststätte Zum Budche restaurant. You can enjoy a traditional German meal here. Of course, you can also order German specialty beers and delicious Naheland wines at Zum Budche.

Soonwald is nog niet super toeristisch daarom lekker rustig mooie omgeving. Camping prima douchen zonder muntjes en goede straal, voor kan je eten en drinken. Zeer vriendelijke Nederlandse eigenaren die klaar staan voor je indien nodig hebben wij ervaren. Aanrader!

1e veld loopt schuin af maar de zeer behulpzame beheerder riep hulp in om blokken onder de caravan te plaatsen.
Privesanitair ok maar geen verwarming.
Restaurant is meer voor de snelle hap.
Mooie omgeving.

Waanzinnig lieve eigenaars. Top gastheer en gastvrouw. Wij komen ieder jaar voor enkele dagen. GEWELDIG !!!!

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. We mochten zelf een plek uitzoeken op het tweede veld, over de brug. Het veld was erg drassig en heel veel blubber na het bruggetje. Hier was met de auto met vouwwagen/caravan haast niet doorheen te komen. De hogere plekken waren gelukkig redelijk begaanbaar en de plekken liggen mooi aan de bosrand. Het sanitair viel ons tegen. Misschien wel schoon, maar kwam oud/smoezelig over. Er waren geen doekjes bij de wastafel om handen te drogen. De deuren sluiten moeilijk en verlichting werkte niet allemaal. De wandelpaden vanaf de camping hebben we niet kunnen ontdekken. De paden waren begroeid met kniehoog gras en daardoor niet goed begaanbaar. Het eten in het restaurant en keuze aan bier/drinken was goed

In juni 2023 hier een week verbleven. Mooie natuur en op de camping echt rust. We stonden op het tentenveld.
Rondom bomen en je hoorde de vogels en verder niets. Wij hebben hier gewandeld en de omgeving bezocht. Een camping om naar terug te gaan.
