Camping Nahemühle is located just outside Monzingen, in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. This campsite is located in a quiet spot on a tributary of the Nahe River. Some of the spacious touring pitches are located directly on this river. This campsite is an ideal base for beautiful hiking and cycling trips in the area, as well as for visits to Rüdesheim and Burg Rheingrafenstein, for example.

Book a spot on the water or spend the night in the mill

Camping Nahemühle features a relatively large number of permanent pitches. Separate fields with tourist camping pitches have also been created on this well-organised campsite. You'll find both sunny and shady spots on these neatly maintained fields. There are also various types of accommodations for rent. You can spend the night here in a mobile home, a hiker's cabin, an authentic circus wagon or in a room in the mill.

Building dams, entertainment and a wine tour

From the camping area, you follow a path that passes by a nice nature garden and ends at a kind of beach. This little beach lies on the tributary of the Nahe. It is an ideal place to take a dip and cool off on hot summer days. Children can enjoy themselves here by building dams. You can also enjoy swimming outside at the large outdoor swimming pool in Bad Sobernheim, about five kilometres east of the campsite.

Restaurant with regional dishes and pizza nights

Camping Nahemühle has its own restaurant where delicious regional dishes are among the house specialities. A fun pizza night is also organised each week.

Travelling party: Seniors

Prima kleinschalige camping met meerdere velden. Prima voor camper. Keuze is zon- en schaduw plaatsen. Op camping ook een goed "duits" restaurant met erg vriendelijke beheerder. Geeft goede adviezen voor wandelen en fietsen. Enkele dagen gestaan op achterste veldje tegen de bosrand. Omgeving zeer gevarieerd en goed om te fietsen met e-bike. Zeer rustig gelegen en vele vrije keuzes mogelijk.

Travelling party: Seniors

Tijdens Corona-tijden hebben wij hier privé sanitair gevonden met eigen sleutel. Eenvoudig maar proper en functioneel. Contact via e-mail liep nogal verwarrend maar uiteindelijk .vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel. Veel vaste kampeerders in verhouding tot de tourplaatsen. De camping ligt dicht bij de spoorlijn en bij de N41 die soms hinderlijk zijn. Wij vonden het niet overal een frisse aanblik. Wij stonden achteraan, rustig en een beetje geïsoleerd, maar dat vonden wij op dat moment geen probleem. Op andere kampeergrond geen afgebakende plaatsen. Prachtige fietsomgeving ook voor gewone fietsers als je de fiets even op de auto kan zetten. Enkele klein leuke stadjes in de buurt. Wij bleven uiteindelijk bijna 14 dagen, ook omdat het klimaat er bijzonder mild is.
