Camping Weidschleife is located in a bend of the river Wied and in the Wiedtal, near the village of Roßbach. It is wonderfully quiet and ideal for campers looking for simplicity and relaxation. No mini disco, football tournaments and live music, just peace and quiet in nature. There are lots of lovely walking and cycling routes nearby, and the hustle and bustle of villages and towns are easy to find.

Camping along the river

At Camping Wiedschleife, you choose your own camping pitch. Because here you camp on a large meadow by the river. Its size does not detract from the complete tranquillity you experience here. From here, you have a gorgeous view over the Wiedtal. Check in and out whenever it suits you, because you do it all by yourself!

Take a dip or play a game

Here there are no entertainment programmes, just quiet and relaxation. Start the day with a morning walk and get fresh rolls from the baker’s 5 minutes away. Before, or after, dive into the river for a fresh morning swim. And don’t forget your badminton racket or other favourite camping game, because there is plenty of space to play on the camping meadow. Camping Wiedschleife does not have a campsite restaurant or shop, but you are close to bakeries, shops and welcoming restaurants.

Walking and cycling

This campsite is ideal for walkers and cycling enthusiasts. For example, hike the Wiedweg (117 km total), the Wäller Tour Bärenkopp (11 km total) or the Klosterweg (17 km total). Or get on your bike and cross the Wieddal valley on a 100-kilometre bike ride.

Travelling party: Group of friends

Zum 3. Mal in Folge beim euramobil Treffen. Wieder sehr zufrieden mit freundlichem Betreiber, Ordnung, Sauberkeit Hilfsbereitschaft. Umgebung: Leider ist der Standort der Warnung, dass die Wied nicht zum Baden geeignet ist, ungünstig platziert und leicht zu übersehen.

Unser Aufenthalt auf dem Campingplatz Wiedschleife war sehr angenehm. Der Campingplatzbetreiber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereich. Vom Preis her ist alles Top in Ordnung. Der Platz liegt sehr schön gelegen im Wiedtal umgeben von viel Natur.
Wir werden den Platz bestimmt nochmal besuchen und können ihn wirklich weiterempfehlen

Wij kwamen gisteren, 1 juli 2023, aan op deze camping. deze is verdeeld in twee delen: 1 voor de vaste plaatsen en 1 voor passanten en kortkampeerders. Er was geen ontvangst, er hing een briefje aan de deur, zoek maar een plek, als er vragen zijn kunt u bellen met nr. wij hebben een plek gekozen en hebben daar een overnachting gehad. Het sanitair zag er redelijk uit. De andere faciliteiten kunnen wij niet beoordelen. Het was heerlijk rustig. Ook de volgende morgen geen medewerkers, dus hebben wij het bedrag voor de overnachting in een enveloppe in de brievenbus gedaan.
