Veel vaste standplaatsen, ca. 20 vrije kampeer / Camperplaatsen. Alles is oud maar schoon. Goed wandelgebied, voor fietsers minder geschikt. Naast stageld moet er apart betaald worden voor stroom, warm water, douche.

Zwemgelegenheid in Morbach of het moordbad in Idar-Tiefenstein. De wastafels en wascabines zijn voorzien van gratis warm water. Inkopen voor de dagelijkse behoeften is ongeveer 5 km wat geen bezwaar is omdat men midden in een beschermd natuurgebied bivakkeert waar je nog reeën en Edeleherten tegenkomt. Ideaal gebied voor edelsteen en mineraalzoekers.

Ruim 25 jaar geleden voor het laatst geweest. In die tussentijd is de eigenaar overleden en heeft de zoon het voortgezet, hetgeen duidelijk is te zien. Vroeger was het een geweldig gezellige camping. Veel mensen kwamen daar om in de omgeving van Idar-Oberstein edelstenen te zoeken. Nu is dat alleen nog mogelijk in de stenenmijn Juchem in Niederworrusbach die alleen op zaterdagen toegankelijk is. De camping is sterk achteruitgegaan qua onderhoud. Het sanitair is nog van 25 jaar geleden en wordt slecht schoongehouden. In het voor- en naseizoen woont de eigenaar niet meer bij de camping en moet gebeld worden bij aankomst en vertrek. Er is dus ook niets te koop, hetgeen erg onhandig is.

Leuke camping voor gezin met jonge kinderen. Minpunt is, dat er geen animatie is voor de kinderen. Maar voor de prijs hoef je het niet te laten. Eten is er qua prijs/kwaliteit goed.
Verder een prima camping in een schitterende omgeving. Leuk voor mountainbikers.

Ik kom zelf 20 jaar op deze rustige camping. Hij ligt in een bosrijke omgeving , is geschikt voor rustzoekers en heeft een gezellig terras om even iets te drinken of te eten.
