The Gulf of Tarente is located on the Salento peninsula, the ‘heel of the Italian boot’. This coastal strip is known for its beautiful beaches, rugged cliffs and the many remains of Greek antiquity. This is the setting of Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village. Here you camp just a stone's throw from the azure blue sea. A free shuttle bus will take you there.

Large shaded pitches
The pitches on the campsite are generally spacious and shady. The flower boxes, poplars and pines on the site create a peaceful atmosphere. The separate field for young people under the age of 25 is also a smart measure to keep the peace and quiet. In addition to a number of mobile homes, there are also glamping tents for rent. The five sanitary buildings look neat and tidy.
Eating out
Of course you also go to Italy for the delicious food. In the campsite's Trattoria they always know how to put something tasty on the table. Prefer to cook for yourself? Thanks to the wide range of products in the campsite shop, amateur chefs are perfectly at home here.
Tropical beach
Do you want to enjoy the beach? Then get in the free shuttle bus that will take you to the beach eight hundred meters away. Along the Gulf of Tarente there are several rocky beaches that seem to come right out of a photo album. Also take a look at the 'beach of purity', the city beach of Gallipoli with crystal clear water. At the campsite you can cool down in the spacious and rectangular swimming pool. It is well-maintained with colourful sunbeds under the tall trees.
