Camping Covelo is located on Lake Iseo in northern Italy, near the town of Iseo. Lake Iseo is smaller and less touristy than nearby Lake Garda and is certainly worth visiting. The campsite is situated directly on the lake and the charming town centre of Iseo is 2 km away.
Italian family business
After you have reached the campsite via a relatively narrow road, you will be welcomed by the manager, who runs the reception together with his sister, while his mother tends to the kitchen and his father makes the pizzas. A real Italian family business. The flat terrain extends along the banks of Lake Iseo. The most beautiful pitches are located by the lakeside. The shaded pitches are not large, so caravans and camper vans are pitched lengthwise so that everyone has a decent view of the lake. The pitches are not marked, but are separated by bushes in some places.
The two very well-maintained sanitary blocks were renovated in 2016 and 2017 and are also suitable for the disabled. The campsite also has rental facilities available such as bungalow tents and caravans.
Enjoy Lake Iseo
Covelo is not aimed at a particular group of campers, but the majority of campers are seniors. Its location directly on the lake and the sunbathing area by the water are ideal. The large campsite restaurant, which also acts as a pizzeria and bar, is simply furnished and has a terrace with gorgeous views of the lake. You can order fine (regional) dishes and pizzas here. The campsite shop, which is located in the restaurant, only offers the most basic supplies. For your daily shopping, Iseo is nearby.

First site we’ve been on using ACSI. Really impressed. Great location with stunning views. Extremely helpful staff. Very good restaurant with great prices.
All the staff were very helpful.
This was one of our first motorhome experiences and could not have been better.
3rd visit and can only say it gets better and better. Staff very attentive and nothing is ever a problem. Food was excellent. There a new member of staff who is a wine specialist, every afternoon wine tasting and information on wines of the region and Italy.
Obviously lakeside pitches are popular, but wherever you are you will have a great experience. Luca and the team are truely amazing. Thank you!
the site is besideLake Iseo, so the lake provides boating, swimming and fishing
What a gem! A small, family run lakeside site, with very helpful, friendly staff. A minibus runs you into the centre at 10 a.m. and Noon but it is an easy walk if you wish.
A fanntastic campsite. Such a warm and friendly welcome. The whole team were excellent and went thart extra mile always with a smile. A massive thanks to Luca and the team, they helped us above and beyond when I had to return to the UK for a funeral.
Luca and the team made us feel welcome right from the start on this family run site. Arriving with car problems having lost a wing mirror to an errant truck on the autostrada, he promised and delivered repairs through a local garage. Bigger pitches than we are used to in Italy, superbly clean facilities, \'Swan Lake\' outside the van windows each morning fresh bread and cold beer.
There is a single track railway next to the site, but only small local trains which did not detract from our stay, which stretched from \'3-4 days\' to a week.
A train from nearby Rovato (20 minutes away) took us to Verona in an hour, directions, times and ticket prices all printed out by the reception staff.
Huge \'Superstore\' 10 minutes away with the shiniest floors I have seen in a supermarket to date.
Nice little site about 1km from town. Grass pitches are set out in blocks of 4 along the lakeside and are quite spacious for Italy. Most pitches have lovely views across the lake. Sanitary facilities are clean with paper, soap & dryers available. The hosts are very welcoming & gave us a drink in the café on our arrival. The onsite restaurant was still open late season & bread was available from the bar.
This site is excellent. The staff are really helpful and speak very good English. If you\'re lucky you\'ll get a pitch right on the edge of the lake or you might have to wait a day or two and move pitches when one becomes available.
Lots of cycling around the lake and on the island.
Iseo is nicely buzzing.
Beautiful setting. Wake up and dive into the lake, 20*C in June.
The road can be a bit noisy but earplugs solve that.
On arrival we were invited to have a drink of coffee or a glass of wine before pitching, this was a first and set the tone for our time there. It is a family run site and Luca makes you feel part of the family, and I can say we have never felt so warmly welcomed at any other site, so we extended our stay by another tow days. Luca put on an (Italian) Mothers Day party and on another day a wine tasting event. The site has views to die for, comparable with the other Italian Lakes.
I recommend this site and am sure you will come away feeling good about your visit
