In the interior of the Le March region, nestled among the green Italian hills, lies Camping Podere Sei Poorte (P6P). Coming from the north this camping is easy to reach from the A14. From there you enter the Italian interior and follow the hilly roads towards the camping along grain fields, vineyards and olive groves and picturesque little towns. The campsite is situated in a wooded and natural environment, away from the mass tourism on the coast.
The Dutch owners (the Poorte family) or one of the staff members will welcome you to the campsite. The hilly landscape necessitates the layout of the grounds in a special terraced way.
It is obvious that the campsite is lovingly maintained. The camping pitches on grass are very spacious (150 m2) and are surrounded by trees and shrubs. Apart from pitches for tents, caravans, campers and folding trailers, Camping Podere Sei Poorte offers the opportunity of renting a mobile home, luxury lodge tent (glamping) or safari tent.
Swimming pool with a view
Although the sanitary facilities are not new, they are clean and well-maintained. Distributed over 9 small units on the grounds, these facilities are easily accessible to all. The swimming pool (8 x 16 m) also looks nice and is located on a hill so that you have a panoramic view from the loungers over the surrounding woods and fields.
Small children and youngsters can also amuse themselves in the play ground, on the trampolines or on the sports fields. There is an entertainment team for the little ones. In high season there are several families with teenagers, so that this group will also not get bored (night swimming, campfire or just hanging out together).

A lovely rural site in a beautiful hillside setting. The local roads were a bit challenging but ultimately manageable in our 7.65 m Motorhome plus tow car. Run by a Dutch couple, the majority of the pitches were taken by Dutch people all of whom were very friendly and spoke more English than we did Dutch! Pitches were spacious with power and water close by. Clean toilet/shower 'pods' scattered through the site meant you didn't need to go far. Wifi was only at the restaurant and not available on 'dinner nights' but this wasn't a problem for us. Excellent tour to a local vineyard/olive grower where we enjoyed an excellent wine and oil tasting. Lovely pool with loungers. Highly recommended if you want to visit this area.
A rustic campsite in magnificent surroundings. Campsite restaurant is outstanding. pitching could be tricky but pitches good size. Toilet and shower pods scattered around site work very well. Need a good satnav!
A lovely spot. Staff helpful. Bread can be ordered. Swimming pool lovely. We went to one of the organised dinners which was very good, and had a band playing as well. Our only grumble regards the Wifi it was only accessible in the Bar area and it was turned off on the dinner nights, which seemed very odd.
A perfect few days spend here in Montecicciardo. A combination of outstanding surroundings, a quiet and peaceful pitch and friendly and approachable staff. 10/10.
the site is full of Dutch people seeking a holiday well above sea level. This adds to the atmosphere which on the whole is very laid back and friendly. The proprietors are very relaxed and welcoming. we hope to return. be warned the road network around this site is very twisting and it does a long time to get anywhere but that the ways it is in the hills!
Very polite and friendly Dutch Owner. A free welcome beer was given. Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday you can join their dinner denu at a very reasonable price. The food was really really good! And on Sunday you can enjoy their "Brunch" menu too. It is very different style from other italian campsite. It seems like we were in Holland not Italy.
