Camping Antholz is a beautifully situated camping site in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol near the village of Rasen-Antholz. The camping site is located near the Austrian border and the Antholzer See. Thanks to its proximity to Kronplatz Mountain, the camping site is a perfect base for an active holiday both in summer and winter. Antholz is an extremely well-maintained terraced camping site that exudes a pleasant feeling of tranquillity. It's the perfect place to slow down and rest.
Camping Antholz is operated by the Wieser family, who do everything to make their guests feel at home. The perfectly tended pitches are spacious and even large campers have plenty of room. Next to the pitches you can rent so-called "sleeping barrels", which are romantic wooden huts for two to four people.
Into the mountains
The camping site is mainly geared towards guests who come here in summer to hike in the mountains (guidebooks with hiking trails are available from the reception). In winter campers come here to enjoy the wide range of winter sport options the region has to offer. The camping site borders the Rieserferner Ahrn nature park with its many glaciers, mountain torrents and waterfalls.
Winter sport: The 2,275 m high Kronplatz mountain (located 27 km from the camping site) boasts a total of 114 km of pistes. It is one of the few ski resorts in the Alps with no fewer than five black pistes. But there's also everything here to delight beginner and intermediate skiers too.
In one word: perfect. In the basement where the sanitary facilities are housed, you will also find a sauna and some infrared cabins.
