Good sized private pitches with hedges on 3 sides, each pitch with its own outdoor sink with cold water. Easy access. Nice pool, some facilities were a little on the \'tired\' side. There was no dry area in the showers. Not close to a local village if you are in a camper with no other vehicle transport. For what we got it seemed expensive compared to other sites that we stayed at in Italy during our 5 week tour.
Stayed here for 6 nights in May 2011. Lovely campsite with good access, large level pitches, all hedged with a sink on each pitch. Coop supermarket about 5 km away in Bucine. Good walking and cycling area. Toilet facilities good with lots of hot water.
We stayed in a very good caravan. It is very clean, no complain at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During October vacation time, the surrounding is very quiet. Traveling by car is recommended since the place is a little bit remote.
Our first visit to Tuscany was made an excellent experience by staying at this campsite.
The pitch was large and fairly level but hard ground, will take rock pegs next time. The hedges on three sides give good privacy and there is a sink and tap at the back of each pitch which is very convenient.
The shop is very well stocked and reasonably priced and stocks most things except meats. The restaurent is excellent serving a good range of Italian and fast food. The service was friendly and prices very reasonable. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcome at all times.
The site is well located for trips to Sienna, etcetera. And there is plenty of good walking in the area.
Dont miss the wine tasting on Thursday. We got a four course meal and as much wine as we could drink.
This is an exellent campsite, right in the heart of "Chianti". The staff is very helpfull and speak perfect English. The three swiming pools are really good and are opened all day. The pitches are spacious with plenty of shade, but not to much. It's easy to get to the main centers of Arezzo, Siena and even Firenze. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
