Fabulous spot. The restaurant has to be one of the most impressive we have been to on a campsite. The shop just opened the week we were there and it looked well stocked. Pitches spacious. Swimming pool great. Views fantastic from the pool area. Road cycling challenging!
Incredible campsite. Stayed for 2 nights. Ate at the restaurant the 1st night and it was incredible! Delicious food and lovely staff! Pool beautiful! No entertainment but was ok because sitting at your campsite is much better! Surroundings 10/10. Incredible looking out at the mountain ranges. Will definitely be back!!!
This is one of the nicest campsites I have ever stayed at. Wonderful situation; good base for walks in the Sibillini Mountains; good clean facilities; nice pool; excellent and reasonably priced restaurant; friendly and helpful staff - what more could you want?
One of the best campsites we have stayed on in Italy, if not Europe. The pitch we chose was on the small side but the views made up for it. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Reception has a supply of free leaflets of local walks from the site. Restaurant was excellent - we ate there twice during our seven night stay - and felt it was good value. Visited Piano Grande but flowers sadly not at their best as the season was behind. We were alarmed as we arrived at how narrow the approach road was through Castelvecchio, but relieved to find out that the exit route is down the site albeit by negotiating a series of hairpin bends. Would return if touring in the vicinity again.
A good camp site in a lovely area. The staff in reception were very helpful giving us a choice of pitch and all spoke good English. A great place for a long stay. The paths through the campsite can be steep and some places steps are used so not recommended for anyone with a walking problem. However, there are pitches with easy access to toilet blocks. A site we would definitely use again if we are in that area.
If you want a top quality campsite, in breathtaking surroundings, to enjoy some serious rest and relaxation, then look no further than Il Collaccio. It was very quiet during both day and night, the only negative being the ravenous mosquitoes. Pitches aren't huge, but they do a good job of matching space to unit size so we didn't feel cramped. In early July, we were the only Brits on a site full of Dutch familes; it felt very child friendly and safe. Facilities were ample and very clean. The restaurant serves excellent local food at reasonable prices and pizza is available to takeaway. So good, the locals eat here. It really is as beautiful as it looks on their website. Highly recommended.
