A big plus is access to Union Lido next door, owned by the same company, which has more shops, restaurants,
sports facilities + 2 water parks!
This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it.
The entrance is fine as long as no-one else is waiting to get in (or out). Check in is easy, although I still get slightly nervous of leaving our passports there. I would prefer to pay the entire bill on arrival and keep our passports! The staff are very friendly and speak excellent English.
The first time we used this site, we had a \'mare\' pitch. This time we could only get a A plus. Access to the pitch was tricky, largely due to rather thoughtless parking by other campers. It would be better if the site were to politely ask other campers to ensure they parked on their pitch and kept bicycles and guy ropes off the access route.
However this is a minor moan and has nothing to with this site which is superb. The shop is truly excellent with an massive variety and brilliant friendly staff.
The restaurant is the campsite\'s best feature. The food is reasonably priced, but the quality was outstanding. We ate there three times in one week. You have to try their seafood pasta, fritto misto and steak in pepe verde. Truly fantastic. Very friendly cheerful staff too.
Access to the beach is great. Less than a minutes walk to the warm and clean Adriatic. The beach is sandy, shallow sloping and child friendly. There is a lifeguard present most of the time.
There is another lifeguard at the pool. It is a great pool, with a waterslide. It is quieter in the morning, after the voluntary and entertaining aqua aerobics.
The beach bar sometimes plays loud music until eleven, but at night time the site is quiet.
You can catch a bus to Punta Sabbioni to access the Venice Vaporetto water bus network. There are also large car parks that can take vehicles up to a motorhome size.
If you want a quieter, more relaxing Italian experience than that offered by the bigger sites, you won\'t go wrong with this site. We will come back next year
Excellent sanitation, clean and quiet. On the other hand, the Internet is very expensive (for example, two hours cost around 8 euros) - these prices have never seen in any other camping. Swimming pool closes very early, and his handler is too arrogant. The restaurant prices and food quality (and selection) relationship really poor.
