We were amazed at how the Italians camp - it is like a home from home, they bring everything. The site was quite full but our pitch was a decent size, in the shade of trees and near water/electricity. Toilets/shower facilities are very good; clean, modern and plentiful. It is 95% Italian camper with a very few other nations represented. There was only one other Brit that we saw. Staff spoke English though so no problem.
The pool and playground shut between 1pm and 3pm for siesta. This was a new one on us, but it didn\'t spoil anything. We just went back to our tent and had something to eat and chilled; it somehow made it a more relaxing experience. Sunbeds with brollys are available to hire per day (for 2 people) and have to be booked. Alternatively, there are grassed areas with shade round the pool you can use to lay out on.
The shop is good, the restaurant is brilliant - food excellent. Prices are very reasonable (for most things).
You need a token for hot water. Tokens are for 30 litres. However, apart from one visit to the shower, there was always hot water credit left over from the previous user such that I only used one token the whole time I was there. They buy back any unused tokens.
Staff are very helpful and pleasant. There are pool activities each day if you want them.
The beach is a 10 minute easy walk away. There are free, clean, modern toilets available by the beach. There are also places to eat and drink. The water and beach is clean and seems safe.
We really enjoyed our stay at this site.
Clean toilets and showers in portacabins for motorhome section and beach 10 min walk. 23 km from Venice so takes 2 hours to get there.
Stayed here as it said bus and boat to Venice - what they don't say is that it will take you 2 hours on a good run to get there. Facilities OK but paid for hot water at high prices. Security excellent for families on such a large site. Loved the train for the kids to ride at meal preparation times, great idea.
Very large busy site. All pitches very close together. Pitches on grass & under trees.
Shower & toilet facilities were modern and clean. Tokens required for all hot water.
(If using ACSI card you are given one token each daily for showers). Extra tokens can be purchased from vending machine.
On site is a well stocked supermarket, bar & restaurant. Also fitness room .There is also a swimming pool but lounger & umbrellas are charged for. Having said that at least there were usually loungers available. The beach (Lido) is a 10-15 minute walk away as are bus stops for buses to the ferry terminal Venice ferries. (Good value Bus & ferry tickets available at reception along with good advice. The 2 x bus journeys needed were quite lengthy).
We arrived at site on weekend when it was extremely busy as it appears very popular with Italians for weekends away & the roads to it were clogged up & frustratingly slow moving (after the weekend, the site emptied out and the roads were fine).
Nice site, 5 minutes to a lovely beach, nice surroundins. Easy to get to Venice by buses and water taxi. Would go back again
This was the best park of our 2 week tour of Europe, near to the beach, lovely pool, spacious pitch, helpful staff and spotless facilities, already planning next years visit. Bought tickets at reception for day trip to Venice, got bus and ferry and water taxi all day, great day out
A very good site. Near to the beach, the town, and and easy way of visiting Venice.
Good facilities and security is also adequate. Stayed for a week but would happily have stayed longer.
Lovely clean site with very helpful staff. Located in excellent area with very easy access to Venice. Pitches seem a little small when busy, but overall very good. Would use again and recommend.
We stayed for seven nights in the beginning of March. The area for motorhomes was the only one open but it had nice pitches. We were disapointed to find out that the woodland path leading to the beach mentioned in the ACSI guide was still closed. The staff was kind but at the end of our stay the receptionist was a bit reluctant when we payed with credit card. We think the value for money at least for this period of the year wasn't very good.
