A peaceful site - you must be joking!
We have just left this campsite after 9 days. We were originally only staying 4. The boys at the reception gate were fantastic taking their time to show you around the campsite, the office staff were also helpful. The location is fabulous, right on the edge of Lake Garda and about a 20 minute walk to Peschiera along the lake, great cycleways as well. A small well stocked supermarket and restaurant within the grounds. Other restaurants are within walking distance and a large supermarket across the road. Public transport is also close.
This campsite is like one big family, we could have started another month.
Stayed here only because they accept dogs. ACSI pitches are small and in a very shaded area and face either moblie homes or toillets. Normall pitches are nicer. Made to feel that we were not liked for using the Acsi (at below cost prices!!) and that they took Acsi under sufference. Will NEVER stay here again. We ordered a meal in restaurant for me and my wife. One meal came at least 10 mins before the other, because they were busy! They had 125 German school kids staying on site at the time - they were up until the early hours with lots of noise. The campsite is tired, old and grubby looking. Bella Italia (no dogs) is so much nicer.
This quite basic site is in a lovely position and is suitable for a short stay holiday. There is a good restaurant on site.
Nice site located at the side of lake Garda, staff very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Pitch was good as was UK satellite signal. WiFi very expensive. We travelled the local area easily and used very reasonably priced trains to access Venice and Milano, parking at station 5 Euros per day free car park was always full! Stayed 10 days in the end and would certaintly return. However I would imagine the site would be very busy during peak periods. Mossies/midges were a problem whilst we were there and a repellent was needed. However we have had the same problem camping by UK lakes and lochs.
Tent camping area not very large, but close to good showers and toilets, hot water ran out one morning!.
Large party of German boy's and girl's played very, very loud music one afternoon and until 22hrs, not told to turn down volume. Otherwise very pleasant stay.
