Carinthia is the southernmost and sunniest state in Austria, and is known as the land of mountains and lakes. From Sonnencamp am Gösselsdorfersee you can take the most beautiful trips through this area. Hike the flanks of the Southern Alps or visit the Obir Tropfsteinhöhlen. You will also be staying near to the Gösselsdorfer See, a beautiful swimming lake in a protected nature reserve. Nice bonus at this campsite: one child up to the age of 10 years stays free of charge.

Plenty of space

The campsite is on level ground, looks well maintained and everything is nicely organised. The pitches are spacious and range from 80 to 144 m2. You can choose a standard pitch or a more spacious 'comfort' pitch. The main road is paved and the other roads are covered with gravel.

An active holiday

In addition to being the southernmost and warmest state, Carinthia is probably the most active state in Austria. And that's what the guests at Sonnencamp am Gösselsdorfersee like. You'll find an international crowd here that loves to head out through the region. After such an active day, you can relax at the campsite on the terrace near the restaurant. Daily specials are also served here, and it's wonderful to relax here with a drink, under the trees and parasols.

Swimming and lakes

On hot days, the swimming lake is 'the place to be'. You can cool off, dive in the water from the small jetty or just sunbathe on the grass. The first few metres of the lake are very shallow, so even little ones can play here. A little further along is the Gösselsdorfer See, a beautiful swimming lake in a protected nature reserve.

Ein Campingplatz zum Weiterempfehlen, sehr schöner ruhiger und gepflegter Campingplatz bzw. Anlage. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Alles was der Camper braucht ist am Campingplatz zu finden. Für Hundebesitzer ideale Spazierwege.
Für die Kinder ein eigener Spielbereich mit Hüpfburg.

Wir waren vom 14.-16.05.2024 Gast im Sonnencamp.Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise fühlten wir uns wohl auf dem Platz. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die auch mal zwischendurch den Kontakt pflegen und nachfragen, ob Alles passt. Der Platz ist schön angelegt. Leider hatte das Wetter die gänzliche Nutzung des einladenenden Badestrands und Liegestühlen / Sonnenschirmen etwas verhindert. Sanitärgebäude sind zwar schon älter, dafür ist es sauber, es funktioniert Alles, die Duschen mit Top-Armatur (seperater Temperaturregelung, Umschaltung auf Schwalldusche) - perfekt. Werden sicher diesen schönen Platz wieder als lohnendes Ziel ansteuern.

Op rondreis door Oostenrijk met onze camperbus kwamen we op deze camping terecht. Een mooie rustige camping met grote plaatsen. Hondjes waren welkom. Elke ochtend verse broodjes. Sanitair is superschoon. Omgeving is leuk om te fietsen.

Sehr gut gepflegter Campingplatz, für uns wurde extra noch einmal der Stellplatz gemäht. Sehr großzügige Stellfläche. Die Betreiber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Platz gab es nur Kleinigkeiten zu essen, aber bis in den Ort zum Gasthof war es nicht weit.
Schwimmteich am Platz wurde viel genutzt. Viele Radtouren möglich, Wandermöglichkeiten sowieso.

Waren mit einem anderen Ehepaar und kleinem Hund 4 Nächte im Sonnencamp und haben uns gleich alle wohlgefühlt.
Sehr bemühte, nette Betreiber, ebenso das Personal.
Alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden, großzügige Stellplätze, WLAN, schöner Schwimmteich,
und alles sehr gepflegt.
Sanitäranlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber was wichtiger ist immer sauber und alles funktioniert einwandfrei, sogar Regendusche mit Temperaturregelung war vorhanden.
Für Kinder ist es sicherlich ein Paradies.
Im Campingbuffet gibt es preiswerte Snacks, die Hauspizza war hervorragend.
Wir werden sicher wieder ein paar Tage vorbeikommen.
Das Preisleistungsverhältnis durch ACSI ist top.
