Travelling party: Seniors
Great Little Campsite. Situated at head of lake with views over wetlands. Spotlessly clean sanitary facilities but showers rather cramped and floor gets very wet. Some road noise but not obtrusive. Not surprisingly gets busy even in May. Fraud Schabus brings an egg for each person on a Saturday evening (for Sunday breakfast) - a nice touch! We booked in for 5 nights but stayed 16!!

Travelling party: Seniors
Lovely small, quiet site - more like a large English CL. Situated in a peaceful, rural area at the head of Lake Ossiach. Most of the other guests are Dutch and very friendly - several stayed on this site every year. There was direct access to the cycle track around the lake and lots more easy cycling in the area. The site owner can provide a map of all the cycling routes. Excellent centre for visiting other beautiful lakes and scenic places including Italy and Slovenia - we took our bikes and cycled around Lake Bled. Would love to stay there again as there is so much to see and in June it was so peaceful as there were no children. Fresh bread available every morning and fresh trout in the evening. The site is very well maintained but it could could do with one or two more water points for people like us who never use site facilities.
