Terraced campsite Alpenferienpark Reisach is located on a southern slope in the Gailtal, near the town of Reisach. You''ll stay in a beautiful quiet and very wooded hilly area in Carinthia. Alpenferienpark Reisach has a natural swimming pool where children can play to their heart's content. This simple family campsite guarantees the enjoyment of nature and rest.

Half-timbered building

The first impression of the campsite is that it is clean, convivial and green. The campsite has the atmosphere of a farm. The reception is in the half-timbered building, where there is also a small campsite shop (fresh bread in the morning).

Location with privacy

All pitches have grassy ground and are spacious or relatively spacious. Thanks to the many plants with bushes and hedges, you can expect reasonable privacy on your campsite. All the pitches are flat and nicely arranged, some on terraces due to the altitude difference. The pitches at the edge of the campsite have the best views of the valley. You can spend the night in log cabins or mobile homes.

A special natural swimming pool

The natural swimming pool with a lovely view of the valley is in full sunshine. There are sunbathing lawns around it. The pool has a shallow section with a bottom of large flat pebbles and without plants. There is also a deeper section with water plants and a large (sunbathing) dock and a wooden ladder out of the water. Would you rather walk? There are plenty of marked hiking and cycling routes from the campsite.

Restaurant with terrace

The restaurant has excellent dishes. It cooks with local produce. Inside, it is ‘Austrian’ in décor, with fixed benches around the tables and lots of wood. You can also eat outside on the large cosy covered terrace.

toller naturschwimmteich wirklich schön angelgt; sehr freundlicher Inhaber und informationsreiche Auskünfte; gutes P-L-Verhältnis; guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen (eher steil), leider etwas ausserhalb und stotzige Anfahrt, deswegen für Biker nur mit ambitionierter Geländegängigkeit - können wir von Herzen weiterempfehlen
