Beach camping Seekirchen is situated on the southernmost point of the Austrian Wallersee, amidst diverse vegetation with palm trees and with a beautiful view of the lake. In this oasis of peace you can relax totally. If you are a bit more actively inclined, you can indulge in an extensive range of watersports on and around the lake.
The reception is housed in one of these buildings, where you can also pick up tourist information about the multi-faceted region. The camping grounds are beautified with gravel paths and lush vegetation. The pitches are demarcated, spacious and mostly have ample shade.
Fresh bread is available on the camping site. You don't have to cook yourself every day. While the large restaurant with snack bar doesn't boast a comprehensive menu, most guests will find something to their liking for a reasonable price. When the weather is good, you can sit out on the nicely laid out terrace.
Day beach with entertainment
A real crowd-puller at the Strandcamping Seekirchen is the public beach on the lake, where both camping guests and day visitors can go. It can get pretty busy here at times: after all, besides a nice spot by the water, the beautiful playground and a few exciting water slides are also real attractions. Furthermore, you can rent boats and diving equipment.
Fun tourist tram
The town of Seekirchen can be reached within a few minutes by walking along the cycle trail. Also fun: board the tourist tram which will take you to Seekirchen. Some famous attractions in the region are the Wenger Moor nature park and the ice cave in Werfen, which will definitely appeal to the little ones.
