The Alpine Caravan Park Achensee is located in the beautiful mountains of Tyrol. Campsites and plumbing are extremely modern and you are therefore optimally equipped for camping. Children are guaranteed hours of gaming fun which frees up parents, allowing them to think about their own relaxation.

The beautiful location right on the largest lake in Tyrol between mountains and greenery provides a wonderful panorama for the whole holiday. An easily accessible town that you can even reach from the north without incurring tolls: via Munich - Holzkirchen - Tegernsee - Achenpass – Achenkirch.

Modern camping

The beautiful, sunny campsites are all centrally located to the sanitary facilities. The comfort pitches offer a little extra: with water, electricity, gas connection, cable TV and private cleaning area for chemical toilets, nothing is missing from the pitch. Furthermore, you can also rent apartments and rooms with modern furnishings.

Your pitch neighbours are typically young families with small children, but there is also something here for teenagers.

Play and discover

From your pitch or accommodation you can quickly reach the beautiful, clear waters of the Achensee. For children there is also a water amusement park. Here they can build dams with their friends and play other water games.

The water park isn't the only thing offering your children hours of fun, there is also a large beach volleyball area, an adventure playground and you can rent paddleboats and explore the surroundings from the water. Real adventurers can even paraglide together in the mountains.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Surrounding are amazing but if you are camping with a tent then it is a really disappointing site. You are in a field kind of outside the campsite next to the public parking Area so you don’t feel inside the campsite at all. In the night Local teenagers In their cars were hanging out in the car park and road that the camping field is next to. There’s no water taps in the field and you have to walk a long way to get to the central sanitary facilities (which are extremely modern and luxurious). So it’s a shame that such a beautiful area with good facilities doesn’t provide nice camping facilities and the motorhomes that were inside the camp just looked very cramped, all gravel and no trees or shade anywhere, it really lacks ambience. There is nothing really to define. The campsite and the public area/ you kind of feel like you are camping in the car park of a public leisure facility. Staff were very lovely and food in the restaurant was excellent.
