Slow Village Loire Vallée is a spacious campsite in the green surroundings of Les Ponts-de-Cé, a village just below Angers. Les Ponts-de-Cé is located on an island in the Loire River. You can easily walk to the village from the campsite. Take a dip in the pool, go canoeing or throw a ball on the bocce court. At the entrance to the campsite is a fine restaurant with a terrace.

Camping with space and shade

The pitches of this campsite are very spacious with a minimum of 105 m2. The very largest spots measure a whopping 400 m2! So they differ quite a bit in size. This creates a playful appearance. There is plenty of shade in many places, especially in the orchard.

Those who come without a tent, trailer tent, caravan or campervan can stay in one of the bivouac tents or bungalow lodges. These have all been given a beautiful place in nature. They were installed in 2019, so they are still relatively new.

There is water fun for the entire family

Just outside the campsite is a large outdoor pool of no less than 3,000 m2! The pool is surrounded by trees. The water slide and the paddling pool provide entertainment for children small and large. Next to the pool, you will find a lovely sunbathing area. Of course, the Loire is also a source of pleasure. Cast out a fishing line or hop in a canoe!

Entertainment on dry land is also available. For example, there is some playground equipment, and you can throw a ball on the bocce courts. The recreation room features slot machines and a television. There is no entertainment programme.

Liked - Le service à l'accueil est irréprochable, les personnes sont serviables et à notre écoute
Disliked - On ne trouve pas que les sanitaires soient très écologiques.
Des panneaux solaires thermiques et de la récupération d'eau pluviale serait vraiment le minimum.
De plus la lumière est souvent allumée car des campeurs oublient de l'éteindre.

Liked - Le toboggan de la piscine.
Disliked - Le fait que lors de notre arrivée (pendant les heures indiquées sur le mail de réservation à savoir entre 12h-19h) l’accueil soit fermée. Qu’il a fallut attendre 14h, dans l’allée avec la caravane au soleil, que le personnel de l’accueil revienne pour nous donner un emplacement.
Les nombreuses poubelles accumulées autour des conteneurs.

Liked - Le camping est très bien situé et très agréable avec tous les arbres. Le plan d'eau à proximité et la location de vélo.
Disliked - L'emplacement juste à côté de la piscine avec le bruit de la pompe et le jet d'eau qui coule toute la nuit. Il manque un couvercle pour les casseroles, cela permettrait d'économiser de l'énergie pour réchauffer plus vite. Les sanitaires un peu juste pour la taille du camping.

Liked - Le calme , les grands emplacement pour notre par. La taille réduite du camping qui permet d'aller aux sanitaires rapidement à pieds.
Le bord de loire.
Disliked - odeur dans les wc , douches petites avec 2 enfants en bas âges. Manque la possibilité de commander juste des frites le midi et le soir comme dans beaucoup de camping. Piscine non chauffé , difficile de rentrer dedans, pas forcement indiqué lors de la reservation.
