Slow Village Loire Vallée is a spacious campsite in the green surroundings of Les Ponts-de-Cé, a village just below Angers. Les Ponts-de-Cé is located on an island in the Loire River. You can easily walk to the village from the campsite. Take a dip in the pool, go canoeing or throw a ball on the bocce court. At the entrance to the campsite is a fine restaurant with a terrace.

Camping with space and shade

The pitches of this campsite are very spacious with a minimum of 105 m2. The very largest spots measure a whopping 400 m2! So they differ quite a bit in size. This creates a playful appearance. There is plenty of shade in many places, especially in the orchard.

Those who come without a tent, trailer tent, caravan or campervan can stay in one of the bivouac tents or bungalow lodges. These have all been given a beautiful place in nature. They were installed in 2019, so they are still relatively new.

There is water fun for the entire family

Just outside the campsite is a large outdoor pool of no less than 3,000 m2! The pool is surrounded by trees. The water slide and the paddling pool provide entertainment for children small and large. Next to the pool, you will find a lovely sunbathing area. Of course, the Loire is also a source of pleasure. Cast out a fishing line or hop in a canoe!

Entertainment on dry land is also available. For example, there is some playground equipment, and you can throw a ball on the bocce courts. The recreation room features slot machines and a television. There is no entertainment programme.

Liked - Nous avions aimé l’accueil et notre petite tente avec accès à micro ondes et nécessaire de cuisine, c’est super et très bien équipé quand on a que des sacs à dos ;)
Disliked - Sanitaires pas super propres et lieux en général vraiment moins jolis que sur les photos : mieux vaut avoir des photos moins attrayantes peut être ;) (la piscine notamment n’était pas du tout comme on l’imaginait et le fait de partager , que ce soit une piscine communale est un point négatif). Mais c’est quand même sympa ! Très bien niveau écologie / environnement. Les jeux pour enfants sont top !

Disliked - Très voir trop bruyant à l'extérieur du camping des rafting le soir, des fêtes ... Et à l'intérieur car camping de passage pour certains et pas de règlement connu ni de vigile

Liked - De lodges zijn comfortabel en je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt bij de hand, al is één kookplaat wel heel weinig om echt te koken. De locatie is prachtig, alleen jammer dat de lodges zo dicht bij de openbare parking naast de camping staan. 's nachts (alleen in het weekend) kwamen er jongeren rondhangen en joyriden, wat ons uit onze slaap hield.
Disliked - Het sanitair is echt verouderd en is niet wat je verwacht van een hippe camping. Proper was het gelukkig wel, maar het toiletpapier was regelmatig op. We vonden het jammer dat er totaal geen ziel in deze camping zit doordat ze is overgenomen door een keten. Zo is er na sluitingsuur van het onthaal niemand meer die zich om de camping bekommert.
We voelden ons ook wat bedrogen door hoe het zwembad wordt voorgesteld. Het ligt eigenlijk niet op de camping zelf maar ernaast. Je mag er maar één keer per dag binnen, dus je moet wel wat plannen.

Liked - Le camping est bien situé, nous n'avons pas tester les activités.
La petite cabane en complément de la tente est très pratique (frigo, prise électrique)
Dommage qu'il ne soit pas annoncé de façon évidente qu'il s'agit de la piscine municipale et qu'elle ouvre mi-juin
Manque d'équipement pour les cyclistes : garage à vélo, pompe électrique, etc

Liked - Nous avons aimé la localisation du camping, le cadre végétale et la proximité avec la Loire rendent ce lieu très dépaysant. Nous avons apprécié le bungalow en bois, fonctionnel et spacieux. On reviendra !
Disliked - La piscine fermée, nous n'avons pas pu en profiter dommage.
