Travelling party: Couple

Although convenient for getting into Milan, bus near entrance to metro, the existence of a small farm within this small site did nothing to discourage the flies and mosquitoes that were a constant bother. Management advise that they spray for mosquitoes every 2 weeks but one has to question the effectiveness of this policy.
The site is very close to a water park and the day we arrived, a Sunday, loud music from the park continued right up to midnight. The following 2 nights there was nothing.
The toilets look to be relatively new, are in excellent condition, and on the whole are kept clean and tidy with plenty of warm rather than hot water.
As far as I am aware, this is the only campsite in the Milan area; a bit of competition would be a good thing and while the little farm might be good fun for the children, there is even a black swan and when we arrived there was a donkey and a small horse roaming freely, they really ought to rethink their ideas in this regard.

Travelling party: Couple

This was a very expensive site for the facilities provided. In April, only one toilet block was open, it was fairly decent, but the closed one looked to be in a poor state. We used our own facilities as the weather was poor. Water, waste and toilet emptying were very poorly signed. Internet access was expensive.
The site is flat, and due to wet weather there was a lot of standing water. Due to the large trees, pitching is awkward for larger vans, and pitches are ill-defined.
It seems to be the only site in the Milan area. Staff were helpful in advising us how to travel into the city centre. Good security.

Travelling party: Seniors

Came to this site, specifically to go to the Italian F1 GP. Unfortunately it was on outskirts of Milan but not very close to Monza. 3 hour bus, train & underground trip each day for GP. Did city bus tour but only proved not much to look at. Site facilities old but still very good and clean. Site restaurant OK. Pitch was an OK size under trees for shade although 2 RVs turned up that made them look small. Water park next door was shut. On site zoo (yes zoo) did make the smell interesting.

On the front entrance to this camping site is a sign with 4 stars but I have no idea what organisation would grant this campsite 4 stars. We stayed at more than ten European campsites this summer and this one was by far the worst! The toilets are disgusting and many of them broken and left in a state of disrepair. There was no hot water. The advertised onsite shop has shut down. The owner clearly had no time for her customers. The price is beyond a joke! This was the most expensive campsite we visited on our trip. Very unhappy and would consider contacting the organisation that saw fit to give this horrible campsite four stars because it doesn't deserve one!!
