In the sloping landscape of the Vendée, less than ten kilometres south of La Roche-sur-Yon, you will find camping Campilô. Here you camp on a spacious pitch or in a mobile home right next to a large fishing lake. The covered outdoor swimming pool with water playground is the place to be for children, while nature lovers can enjoy a quiet evening stroll around the lake.

New campsite

The campsite is new and it shows: on a well-maintained terrain there are over forty touring pitches beautifully laid out in the natural surroundings. Tall trees provide shade for each pitch. The mobile homes and chalets, situated directly on the lake, are modern. You can also spend the night in a Coco Sweet tent, an attractive tent furnished with a small kitchen.

Indoor swimming pool with water playground

The covered, heated swimming pool is a great asset. The transparent roof allows the sun to heat the pool. Next to the swimming pool, between thatched parasols and sun loungers, is the water playground. Here children can run through the fountains and enjoy themselves, while the parents lie in the sun and keep an eye on things.

Facilities at the campsite

The reception is centrally located and also contains a bar. Here you can enjoy a drink on the pavement cafe with a nice view. The campsite shop provides basic supplies, for more extensive groceries you can go to La Roche-sur-Yon. The sanitary facilities on the campsite are excellent. Very clean and brand new, like the whole campsite.

Liked - Camping avec de belles prestations, la piscine et le lagon …. Bel endroit pour des vacances reposantes. Proximité des commerces pour une belle journée shopping…. Pas trop loin de l’océan pour profiter des plages. Équipe d’animateur super sympathique et accueil très chaleureux
Disliked - Le gros point négatif : la partie snack, personnel peu avenant (pas de client et pourtant on doit se déplacer pour passer commande) tarif plutôt élevé pour du simple snack… qui en plus n’est pas de super qualité . Peu de diversification au niveau des repas à thème…. (D’ailleurs un peu radin sur les quantités à la soirée moules)
Bref un point noir… petit conseil pour l’équipe d’animation (c’est la première année alors il ne faut pas être exigent) planning d’activité sur 15 jours afin d’éviter de faire deux fois les mêmes choses quand on est présent 2 semaines .

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Très accueillant, localisation sympa et a proximité de plusieurs activités.
Le lagon est une très belle innovation.
Disliked - Les playlist utilisées sont toutes les mêmes.
Le rapport qualité/prix du snack, un peu trop élevé vue la qualité des produits.

Liked - 2eme année que nous venons à campilo et toujours sur le charme du camping, calme, reposant, familial, nombreuses animations pour tous le monde. Malgré les caprices de la météo, nous y avons passé une bonne semaine. Nous avons adoré le lagon avec ses toboggans, le bar snack très apprécié que se soit par les ados que par les adultes. Une superbe équipe de professionnel sous la direction d'une superbe gérante de camping. Bonne continuation à vous campilo et sûrement à l'année prochaine.

Liked - confort du mobil-home et vue sur l'étang, calme du camping
Disliked - Problèmes d'équipements : Lagon magnifique, mais eau trop froide pour en profiter, piscine trop petite, snack trop cher et peu diversifié, table de ping-pong cassée et non fonctionnelle.
Ce qui m'a le plus déçu : pas de vélos en nombre suffisant. J'avais choisi ce camping car il est piéton et que cela me rassurait pour que mes enfants puissent faire du vélo. J'ai même demandé, avant d'arriver, s'il était nécessaire de réserver des vélos, mais il m'a été répondu que cela n'était pas nécessaire. Au final, mon fils n'a pu faire qu'une semaine de vélo, car le stock de vélos n'est pas suffisant.

Liked - le chalet sur le lac
Disliked - votre règlement sur la pèche deux ligne a fond et une canne a coup qui ne sert a rien car plus de petit poisson blanc je souhaitais passe 15 jours avec mon petit fils de 13 ans pour pèche a deux lui seul a pèche
j'espérais revenir en septembre avec un ami pécheur mais vu votre règlement nous irons pèche ailleurs
et quand j'ai soulever le problème au jeune homme de l'accueil il ma répondu sec il fallait lire le règlement avant je lui conseille un stage commercial .il faut revoir le prix des soirées moules frites 15€ et 17 pour la paella
