Tip 1: Low-season discounts during the summer holidays

Late summer is a great time to camp – many sites still offer low-season rates.
At the end of summer, plenty of campsites still offer low-season prices.
Low-season rates during the holiday period? Absolutely! With a bit of research, you can save tens of pounds per night. While school holidays are still in full swing in parts of southern Germany, other regions in Europe have already quietened down. And that means: CampingCard ACSI rates! From September onwards, many campsites are back in low season – perfect for a relaxed and affordable end to summer.
Tip 2: The digital card – perfect for winter campers
Planning to escape the cold and head south for winter? Then the CampingCard ACSI Digital is ideal for you! It’s valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. For example, if you buy it on 1 October, it will remain valid until 1 October the following year. Perfect if you want to extend your stay in sunny Spain or Portugal in spring – all at the same great low rate.
Tip 3: Buy your card as early as possible
The printed CampingCard ACSI is valid from 1 January to 31 December. In other words, the earlier you buy it, the longer you can enjoy discounted stays at over 3,000 campsites across Europe! Want to make the most of your card? Order it early in the year. The guide for the following year is already available from October in our webshop. It’ll arrive before Christmas, so you can start dreaming about your next camping trip over the holidays.
Tip 4: Young children and dogs sometimes stay for free

Taking your furry friend along? On nearly 3,000 campsites, one dog is included in the price.
Travelling with young children? Good news: at more than 400 campsites, up to three children aged five or under can stay for free. Perfect for families looking for a great-value break. And your dog? They’re welcome too – at almost 3,000 campsites, one dog can stay at no extra cost. More time together, more fun!
Tip 5: Extra discounts for longer stays
Did you know that staying longer on one campsite can save you even more? Many campsites offer special deals, such as the **7=6 offer** – pay for six nights at the CampingCard ACSI rate and stay for seven. That’s one free night and even more time to unwind. This offer applies to hundreds of campsites, so there’s a good chance your favourite one is included.
Tip 6: It’s truly easy and accessible
With CampingCard ACSI, affordable camping really is simple. Just drive to a participating campsite and pay the reduced CampingCard rate on arrival – that’s it! Of course, you can always call or email ahead to book. Prefer to do everything on your phone? No problem. In the app, filter for “Bookable directly via ACSI” and reserve your pitch straight away with the CampingCard ACSI Digital.
Tip 7: The advantages of the CampingCard ACSI app

You can book campsites via the CampingCard website, but the app has even more benefits!
Always up to date and easy to use – the CampingCard ACSI app automatically keeps your list of campsites current. No outdated information, no surprises on the road. You’ll always have the latest overview of campsites accepting the card.
Tip 8: Download your campsites in advance
You’ve probably experienced it: you arrive at a lovely rural campsite, get out your phone to check in… and there’s no signal. No worries! Simply download your favourite campsites in the CampingCard ACSI app before you set off. That way, you’ll have all the information you need even when you’re offline.
Tip 9: Great deals close to home
You don’t have to travel far to enjoy great-value camping with your CampingCard ACSI. Hop on the ferry or take the Eurotunnel, and within a few hours you can be pitching your tent in France, Belgium or the Netherlands — all countries with plenty of participating campsites. Prefer mountain views? Head a bit further south to Germany or Luxembourg, where you’ll also find many welcoming ACSI sites offering the same low-season discounts.
