On holiday at Lake Walchen

Lake Walchen is part of the municipality of Kochel am See. At 190 metres in depth, it is Germany’s deepest lake. Lake Walchen is remarkably clean and clear due to the minerals in the water and the banning of motorboats. This makes the lake ideal for swimming and water sports.

White beaches, green trees and turquoise water – Lake Walchen is gorgeous.

  • My first camping experiences were as a child, and I loved it! Campsites offered me security and, at the same time, a lot of freedom. Right now, I prefer road trips. Being on the move and staying in many different places is my favourite way of getting to know a country. My latest destinations include Spain, Croatia and the USA.
